- 1 lb ground chicken or ground turkey
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 8 small flour tortillas
- 1 9-ounce bag chopped romaine lettuce (or Caesar salad kit for an even easier option)
- 3 tablespoons Caesar dressing I like Chosen Foods
- ¼ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup croutons crushed (optional, for serving)
- Avocado oil or olive oil spray for cooking
In a medium bowl, combine the ground chicken, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until the seasonings are evenly incorporated.
Divide the chicken mixture among the tortillas. Spread a thin, even layer of chicken over one side of each tortilla, pressing it firmly to help it adhere.
Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat and lightly coat with oil. Place the tortillas chicken-side down and cook for 3–4 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and develops a golden-brown crust.
Flip the tortillas and cook for another 1–2 minutes, until the tortilla is crispy and lightly golden.
In a large bowl, toss the chopped romaine with the Caesar dressing.
Top each taco with the dressed romaine, Parmesan cheese, and crushed croutons.
