- 2 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs or chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp chili crunch oil
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
In a bowl or zip-top bag, whisk together the chili crunch oil, honey, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt until completely smooth and combined.
Add boneless skinless chicken thighs, breasts, tenders, or drumsticks. Toss until every surface is fully coated.
Cover or seal and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or up to 24 hours.
Cook using your preferred method. Grill over medium-high heat for 5 to 7 minutes per side. Air fryer at 400°F for 15 to 18 minutes flipping halfway. Oven at 425°F for 20 to 25 minutes. Cook to an internal temperature of 165°F. Rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- This marinade works on any cut of chicken but thighs produce the best result. Their higher fat content absorbs the marinade more deeply and stays juicy through high-heat cooking.
- Overnight produces extraordinary flavor. Double the batch and store extra marinade in a sealed jar in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
